Coast Grown: Sunny September

Here we are at the end of the first week in September 2022 and the buds are just beginning to chunk up!  We love the fall out here on the Oregon Coast but this month can also bring its own challenges. For instance, during September we are required by the Oregon Department of Agriculture and the USDA to have a certified lab come to our farm and conduct a pre-harvest potency analysis of total THC. If our plants pass this test we are then required to complete harvest within 30 days of the sampling date. This year our harvest is set for the first week of October.Other challenges during this time of year include cold nighttime temps, random violent storms and the endless tasks of preparing for the physical harvest itself.
