Cannabidiol (CBD) Is a naturally occurring compound found in the cannabis plant. It belongs to a class of compounds known as cannabinoids. Unlike its well-known counterpart THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD does not produce a psychoactive effect or “high” when consumed.

Cannabinol (CBN) is another cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. Like CBD and CBG, it is non-intoxicating and does not produce psychoactive effects. CBN is formed through the degradation of THC, usually as a result of exposure to oxygen and heat. As cannabis ages, the THC content gradually converts into CBN. Cannabigerol (CBG) is a type of cannabinoid obtained from the cannabis plant. It’s often referred to as the mother of all cannabinoids. This is because other cannabinoids are derived from cannabigerolic acid (CBGA), an acidic form of CBG.
